#38 Postcard from Malaysia
After Penang, I went to visit Perhentian Island in Terengganu on the east coast of Malaysia. While waiting at the jetty for our boat, I saw a postal box and there were many shops selling souvenirs including postcards at the jetty. So I decided to write one postcard to my Canadian home address. So finally it’s here!
It shows a picture of a fishing village, which is exactly the same postcard that was sent to my by Yip! Read my post #36 here.
I only used an ordinary stamp of a white-rumped shama bird. Oh yes, I wrote the postcard in Malay language, the national language of Malaysia to my daughter who was still in Kuala Lumpur at that time. The postmark date is June 30th, 2011 and the location is Kuala Terengganu, the capital of the state Terengganu.
