#794 Canadian War Museum Postcard from Ottawa, Ontario
A postcard from the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Ontario.
I have visited the museum twice. Free entrance every Thursday evening after 4 pm. Among its collections is a Mercedes limousine used by Hitler. The architect of the museum, Raymond Moriyama was sent to an internment camp as a child during World War II by the Canadian government. The picture on the postcard shows the Vimy Memorial Sculptures in the Regeneration Hall of the museum.
At the back, I used the Princess of Wales’ Own Regiment stamp. The postmark date is 12 June 2013 and the location is Ottawa.
